Key Responsibilities

Teaching Excellence

• Deliver engaging English lessons covering grammar, literature, composition, and comprehension
• Develop creative lesson plans that enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
• Use diverse teaching methods including discussions, debates, creative writing, dramatization, and multimedia resources

Student Development

• Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and creative expression in students
• Provide personalized attention to students with varying proficiency levels
• Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback on written and oral work
• Prepare students for board exams and develop strong foundational language skills

Beyond the Classroom

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance
• Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary learning
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (Class 6-10 preferred)
• Strong command over CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
• Teaching certification preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with educational technology and digital tools
• Experience with activity-based and experiential learning
• Ability to foster appreciation for diverse literary genres and authors
• Creative approach to making language learning enjoyable
• Experience coaching students for debates, elocution, or creative writing competitions
