Role: English Teacher

As an English Teacher in a CBSE-affiliated school, you will play a key role in nurturing students’ language proficiency, critical thinking, and appreciation for literature. You will contribute to a stimulating academic environment through innovative teaching practices, collaboration with colleagues, and active engagement with students and parents.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Foster interactive classroom discussions to develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum planning.
• Organize and participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities that promote language and cultural awareness.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and development.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
• Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, assessment patterns, and best teaching practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification recognized by CBSE.
• Experience teaching English at the secondary level in a CBSE school preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and educational excellence.
• Passion for English language and literature with the ability to inspire students.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
