English Teacher (Please Read Description & Salary Range)

A qualified and dedicated teacher is needed to teach English for the GED certificate program. This is a rewarding opportunity to impact the lives of adult learners and contribute to their educational journey. The details of the vacancy announcement are as follows:

Position: Teacher for English for GED

Timings: 9 a.m to 5 p.m

Location: Near Hasan Square, Block 13 A, Gulshan e Iqbal, Karachi

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lessons in English for adult learners preparing for the GED certificate.
• Create a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the GED English requirements and objectives.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, analysis, and discussion.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and tests.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their English language skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest educational trends and teaching methodologies in the field of English language instruction.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience in teaching English or a similar subject is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse learners.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and supporting adult learners.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
