English Teacher (TGT)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to teach students from Classes 3 to 7. The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ language proficiency, communication skills, reading comprehension, creative writing, and grammar knowledge. The role requires engaging lesson delivery, innovative teaching strategies, and fostering a love for reading and writing among students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, literature, and communication skills appropriate for Classes 3–7.
• Foster creativity through story writing, role plays, discussions, debates, and reading activities.
• Design and implement assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Integrate audio-visual aids, ICT tools, and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning.
• Encourage students to participate in co-curricular activities such as recitation, drama, and essay writing competitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in school meetings, events and training sessions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/master's degree in English (B.Ed preferred).
• Strong command over English language (spoken and written).
• Prior teaching experience with Classes 3–7 is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passionate about teaching and mentoring young learners.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Saturday
• 8:20am to 4:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
