Speaklay is looking for motivated Online English Tutors to teach students worldwide through one-on-one virtual lessons. This is a flexible remote opportunity where you have full control over your schedule and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-on-1 live online English lessons
• Help students improve speaking, fluency, and confidence
• Customize lessons based on student goals (conversation, business English, exam prep)
• Provide feedback and track progress
• Maintain a professional and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• Fluent or near-native English (C1 level or higher)
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable internet connection
• Quiet and professional teaching setup
• Self-motivated and organized

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience (online or in-person)
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Compensation

Tutors set their own hourly rates. Earnings depend on your pricing, availability, and student bookings.

Work Authorization

This is a 1099 independent contractor role (not W-2 employment).
