Class Details:

Job: Part-time

Location: Olive Recreation Center (1111 W. Olive Ave, Burbank CA, 91506)

Pay Range: $30-$32 per hour

Setting: Classroom set-up (In-person)

Requirement: LiveScan

Clay Creations: Sculpting Your Imagination Camp

• Start Date: June 8 - June 12
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM PST
• Location: Olive Recreation Center

Jr. Crime Scene Detectives

• Start Date: June 29 - July 2
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST
• Location: Olive Recreation Center

Job Duties:

• Assist students individually or in groups in targeted subjects
• Host workshops and hands-on activities
• Model and encourage collaborative learning strategies
• Create, manage, and organize instructional resources
• Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment
• Meet regularly with the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (education, English, mathematics) preferred
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or enrichment programs highly desirable
• Patience and ability to work with diverse learning styles
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
• Reliable and able to commit to the schedule
• Personal vehicle and laptop required
• Must live in the area where classes are held
• Experience with children preferred

Salary: $30–$32 per hour

• Experience in enrichment topics preferred
