Class Details:

Job: Part-time

Location: Room 103 Community Center (750 Lakeside Dr SEGrand Rapids, MI 49506)

Pay Range: $25 per hour

Setting: Classroom set-up (In-person)

Available Classes:

Jr. Crime Scene Detective

• Start Date: April 05 - April 09
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
• Location: Room 103 Community Center

Magic Makers

• Start Date: April 05 - April 09
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST
• Location: Room 103 Community Center

Job Duties:

• Assist students individually or in groups in targeted subjects
• Host workshops and hands-on activities
• Model and encourage collaborative learning strategies
• Create, manage, and organize instructional resources
• Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment
• Meet regularly with the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (education, English, mathematics) preferred
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or enrichment programs highly desirable
• Patience and ability to work with diverse learning styles
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
• Reliable and able to commit to the schedule
• Personal vehicle and laptop required
• Must live in the area where classes are held
• Experience with children preferred

Salary: $25 per hour

Requirements:

• Experience working with children
• Own transportation and laptop
• Experience in enrichment topics preferred
