Join Our Orthopaedic Ward

Our expanding Orthopaedic Ward specialises in:

• Elective and emergency orthopaedic procedures including joint replacements
• Robotic-assisted orthopaedic surgery
• Minimally invasive techniques for joint, muscle, and tendon repair
• Treatment across the full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, including:
• Hip, knee, and shoulder arthritis
• Sports injuries
• Spinal conditions
• Hand, wrist, elbow, foot and shoulder disorders
• Paediatric orthopaedic conditions

We are proud to work alongside a highly skilled group of dedicated orthopaedic surgeons, including some of Australia's most experienced joint replacement surgeons and sports injury specialists. Our state-of-the-art facilities support the latest generation of surgical technologies, implants, and techniques.

As a high-acuity surgical unit, we care for patients recovering from major procedures, offering Enrolled Nurses the opportunity to build advanced clinical skills in a supportive, well-resourced environment.

You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, physiotherapists, allied health professionals, and nursing leaders to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes for every patient.

About the Role

We're seeking Enrolled Nurses with a passion for surgical care and a desire to grow, lead, and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care under RN supervision
• Support patients through their recovery and rehabilitation
• Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes
• Act as a role model for compassionate, patient-centred care

What You'll Bring

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (with medication endorsement)
• Experience or interest in orthopaedic or surgical nursing
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Commitment to quality and safety
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, a salary ranging from $32.13 - $34.96 per hour.
