Position Overview

Triple J Tie & Timber, LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Enterprise Accounting & Inventory Coordinator to support company-wide accounting, inventory, shipping, payroll, reporting, and administrative functions. This position is based onsite at the Weir, MS location.

This role works closely with senior management, site foremen, site shipping clerks, employees, vendors, customers, and customer logistics teams across multiple company locations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable working with accounting software and Microsoft 365 tools, and able to follow established processes while also solving complex issues with limited oversight.

The Enterprise Accounting & Inventory Coordinator will support daily business operations by gathering and maintaining accurate data across locations, facilitating timely accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, coordinating inventory-related records, maintaining payroll and timekeeping data, and preparing routine reports for senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform enterprise-level bookkeeping support, including accounts payable and accounts receivable administration.
  • Support inventory accounting and related recordkeeping across company locations.
  • Coordinate master shipping clerk duties and help ensure each location maintains proper shipping documentation.
  • Collect, organize, and verify payroll-related data from multiple sites.
  • Manage time and attendance system data and assist with related reporting.
  • Compile the daily enterprise report for senior management using input from all company sites.
  • Communicate regularly with site foremen, site shipping clerks, employees, vendors, customers, and customer logistics teams.
  • Work with vendors as needed to support accurate and timely accounts payable processing and resolve routine issues.
  • Work with customers and customer logistics teams as needed to support shipping documentation and related communication.
  • Distribute and collect data across sites to facilitate accurate bookkeeping, AR/AP processing, inventory records, and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, vendor, and customer information.
  • Support implementation of company processes, policies, and initiatives across locations.
  • Perform other administrative, accounting, reporting, inventory, shipping, payroll, or operational support duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in business, accounting, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of administrative, bookkeeping, accounting support, inventory, logistics, or related experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, construction, timber, logistics, or multi-site operations experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 products.
  • Experience with Intuit Enterprise, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar accounting software preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills across multiple locations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, systems, and company processes as needed.
  • Ability to accept direction, follow applicable processes and policies, and work independently when needed.

Work Schedule

This is an onsite position based at the Weir, MS location. Remote work is not available.

Regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including an unpaid meal period. Flexibility is required based on business needs. Occasional Saturday work and overtime may be required and will be handled in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
