Role Overview: The Enterprise Analytics Outcomes Specialist is responsible for evaluating internal clinical programs and developing predictive models to support evidence-based population health management practices. This team conducts advanced statistical analyses and develops predictive models using complex operational, economic, and statistical data to quantify the competitive performance of business segments, calculate return on investment (ROI), evaluate potential operational changes, and design new approaches and methodologies. The role also prepares and assists the Sr. Outcomes Specialist in presenting evaluation results in a manner accepted by a diverse group of stakeholders.

Remote – This position is fully remote ideal candidate must be located in Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Standard Time (CST).
Responsibilities:

Support corporate, plan-level, and departmental strategies and goals by effectively applying both business knowledge and technical expertise to develop and implement data-driven solutions

Extract and summarize data to develop predictive populations for program enrollment.

Conduct statistical analyses to compare performance amongst business segments.

Calculate return on investment (ROI), evaluate potential operational changes

Assist with designing new approaches and methodologies

Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems

Collaborate across multiple corporate areas to understand workflows, document processes, and ensure the highest quality product delivery

Work on a fast-paced team, with minimal direction, focusing on understanding the application/product/area in detail, while delivering high-quality outputs and actionable solutions
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in applied statistics, computer science, mathematics, epidemiology, sociology, or economics.

3 to 5 years of experience using mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform large volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions.

3 to 5 years of experience performing outcomes analyses and designing and implementing predictive modeling solutions in the healthcare field.

Knowledge of relevant statistical analyses and methodologies, including but not limited to generalized linear regression, logistic regression, repeated measures analysis, survival analysis, cluster analysis, time-series analysis, decision trees, neural networks, and other machine learning techniques.

Demonstrated ability to adapt analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to measure and improve organizational productivity.

Knowledge of external public data sources such as CMS, Census, CDC, and AHRQ is a plus.

Healthcare publication experience with reputable journals is preferred.

Proficient in data visualization and geographic analysis tools, including Tableau and ArcGIS

Excellent technical writing in business requirements, queries, reports, and presentations

Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and statistical analysis tools such as SAS EG, SAS Enterprise Miner, or R, with adaptability to new analytics platforms

Expert at collecting, organizing, analyzing, visualizing, and presenting quantitative information accurately
