Enterprise Sales Director - Americas

Position overview: The Enterprise Sales Director (ESD) is pivotal in driving Outcomes-

as-a-Service revenue growth for PingCx by actively prospecting, engaging, and

nurturing client relationships with End Users and Building Owners. This position

involves identifying potential End User or Building Owner clients, conducting needs

assessments, and delivering tailored sales presentations that showcase the value of the

PingCx Lifecycle Commissioning ® platform. The Enterprise Sales Director manages the

entire sales pipeline, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing deals.

Collaboration with internal teams, such as Product Management and Customer

Success, is essential to ensure client satisfaction and maximize upsell opportunities.

With a focus on continuous learning and adaptation to industry trends, the Enterprise

Sales Director will contribute significantly to the company's success while fostering

robust and long-lasting client partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

 Sales strategy execution: Help develop and implement an effective sales

strategy to identify, target, and close new End User and Building Owner

opportunities. You will do this by deeply understanding the needs of the customer

and translating them to PingCx’s value proposition and product and service

offerings to effectively pitch to prospects.

 Business development: Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business

through research, networking, and inbound inquiries. Build and maintain a robust

pipeline of potential clients within the assigned territory or market segment and

achieve assigned sales targets.

 Client relationship management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with

clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle.

Develop an understanding of the client’s needs, challenges, and objectives to

position PingCx as a solution that addresses this need and delivers value.

 Collaboration with internal teams: Partner with Product Management,

Marketing, and Account Management teams to align sales efforts with customer

success strategies and product enhancements. Relay client feedback to internal

teams to help improve products and tailor future sales efforts.

 Reporting and forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities,

opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools. Provide regular updates to

leadership on progress toward sales targets and upcoming opportunities.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or significant experience in HVAC, Building

Automation, Facilities Management, Commissioning, or other related fields.

 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales or account management roles,

preferably in Building Automation, Controls, or Enterprise Software.

 Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong

client relationships.

 Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.

 Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
