Entry-Level Accounts Payable Specialist

Auto Haus of Yorktown is seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accounts Payable Specialist to support our finance and accounting operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely vendor payments.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and eager to build a career in accounting or finance while contributing to an efficient and accurate accounts payable process.

Location: United States (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests

Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation

Assist with vendor account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies

Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments

Review financial data for accuracy and compliance with company policies

Support month-end closing activities and reporting

Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status

Maintain organized financial files and records

Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required
