Entry-Level Automotive Technician

Meineke of Matthews is now hiring for a Full/Part time Lube Technician/Entry-Level Technician to join our family-owned and operated complete automotive repair & maintenance shop.

Experience is preferred. Training is available for candidates with the right attitude and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

• Perform lube services: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, battery replacements, wiper & filter installations
• Perform additional services that you are currently qualified to perform.
• Follow the lead of your instructor when being provided training to grow your skill level.
• Conduct digital multi-point inspections to flag potential safety or maintenance needs
• Check tire tread, brake condition, suspension components, and fluid levels
• Reset maintenance lights and apply service stickers
• Follow instructions from management.
• Communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience as an Express Technician, Quick Lane Tech, Lube Tech,
• or similar is preferred
• ASE Certification is a bonus, but not required
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
