Document management
- Organize and file legal documents, both physical and electronic.
- Ensure documents are accurate, complete and filed on time.
- Adds information into file database and case management software.
Legal Research
- Conducting basic legal research using online and other resources
- Summarize case information and preparing reports for attorneys
Client Communication
- Answering phone calls and taking messages
- Helps develop cases by maintaining contact with people involved within the case.
- Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress.
- Scheduling appointments and managing attorney calendars
Administrative Support
- Assisting with general office tasks, such as filing, copying, and scanning
- Maintaining case files and records
- Data entry and billing support
Other duties
- Supporting attorneys with case management, including organizing case files and preparation for court hearings

Experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department), legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
