Duties

• Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting cabinetry according to blueprints and schematics
• Use hand tools and power tools to install cabinets, fixtures, and hardware securely
• Support framing carpentry tasks such as wall preparation and structural adjustments needed for cabinet installation
• Help with surface preparation including caulking, sanding, and sealing to ensure a smooth finish
• Participate in heavy lifting and material handling to safely move cabinetry components on-site
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites or remodeling projects
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installation projects while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Experience with trim carpentry, framing carpentry, or general woodworking is beneficial
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions
• Prior experience in construction, remodeling, or handyman work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in cabinet installation and related trades
