In this role, you’ll operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, to deliver freight efficiently within local routes. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for new drivers to gain hands-on experience in commercial driving. Your primary focus will be on safely transporting goods, load & unload operations, and ensuring timely deliveries to support our customers’ needs. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks with adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• No Touch Freight so kick back and relax and let the customer do all the work for you
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and report any issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and shift reports to ensure compliance and smooth operations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any unforeseen delays or issues
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck operated (e.g., manual transmission experience preferred)
• Prior delivery driver experience is a plus but not required; we provide comprehensive training for new drivers
• Familiarity with various truck types such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is advantageous
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment; forklift certification is a plus
• Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws
• Physical ability to handle freight loads and perform vehicle inspections regularly
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
