We will provide you with the training and mentorship needed to become a successful Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics examiner and, eventually, a trusted expert witness in legal cases.
What You’ll Do:
- Data Preservation: Secure and preserve digital evidence across various devices (computers, servers, mobile devices, cloud platforms like Office 365) using forensically sound techniques.
- Cybersecurity Analysis: Perform analysis on digital evidence for investigations into activity such as intellectual property theft and other cybersecurity-related matters.
- Consulting & Communication: Work directly with clients, delivering clear explanations and reports on analysis and findings.
- Documentation & Project Management: Maintain accurate chain of custody and documentation throughout investigations. Assist in project management to ensure smooth case handling.
- Technology Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching the latest tools and technologies in both Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.
What You Bring:
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of IT systems, both hardware and software.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in documenting and reporting findings.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for client interactions.
- Initiative: Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
- Cybersecurity Enthusiasm: Interest or experience in Cybersecurity is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- Certifications Preferred: Certifications like CCE, CCCE, ACE, GCFA, or related Cybersecurity/Forensics qualifications.
