Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets using SQL, Python, R, and ETL tools such as Talend or Oracle to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other visualization platforms to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Assist in designing and maintaining databases with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Support project management activities within Agile frameworks by tracking progress, documenting requirements, and participating in sprint planning sessions.
- Conduct business analysis by interpreting data trends, identifying anomalies, and providing actionable recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with team members on database design, data modeling, and linked data initiatives to enhance data accessibility across departments.
- Contribute to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes by documenting workflows and supporting system testing efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases; familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; knowledge of Looker is a plus.
- Basic programming skills in Python or R for data analysis tasks; VBA scripting experience is advantageous.
- Understanding of ETL processes and tools like Talend or Bash (Unix shell) scripting for data integration.
- Knowledge of database design principles and linked data concepts to support scalable analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices; understanding of SDLC processes is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets; strong attention to detail is essential.
