Pacific Working Capital is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Entry-Level Data Verification Representative to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in upholding the integrity of our lending process by ensuring the accuracy of client information.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and verifying data, which is fundamental to our mission of providing reliable and efficient financing to small businesses. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $20 - $30 USD per hour.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Review and meticulously verify information submitted by small businesses during the loan application process.
  • Cross-reference data across various documents and internal systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and escalate any discrepancies, missing information, or potential red flags to the relevant team members.
  • Maintain and update client records within our company database with a high degree of precision.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, such as our US-based Lending Specialists, to clarify information and resolve data queries.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies on data protection and confidentiality.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required to support the efficiency of the verification and lending teams.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computers and standard office software, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • A proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in a data entry, verification, or administrative role is advantageous but not essential.
  • An interest in the financial services or lending industry is desirable.
