Entry-Level Dental Assistant

We are looking for dental assistant to join our private practice! Someone who is personable, motivated, and friendly to join our practice! Experience is NOT needed but is a plus! We could train you to become a licensed dental assistant and pay for that.

We are a family owned practice and focus on quality over quantity! We are looking for the perfect candidate who can work full time as our practice is growing rapidly! Must be able to work Saturday’s! (2 Saturdays in a month) Your duties will be (but not limited to):

Assist dental hygienist Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

Complete radiographic images and intraoral photos Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse

Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling)

Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling) Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth)

Communicating with patients, post operatory follow up call Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and oral surgery

Disinfect and sterilize instruments, equipment and operatory Prepare the instruments and materials required to treat each patient

Obtain patients’ dental records Prepare materials for impressions and restorations

Communicate effectively with team and patients Check to ensure that dental units are ready, stocked, and clean at all times

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
