At Action Traffic Maintenance, the role of the Diesel Technician is an essential element in maintaining the efficiencies and productivity of the projects within the organization. We look to our mechanics to keep our fleet working effectively on the road. We look to our mechanics to know how to repair and perform routine maintenance on all fleet vehicles, including, but not limited to, cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, stand, sit, stretch, squat, kneel, walk, climb, use hands and fingers, talk, hear and view-the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The employee must lift or push/pull objects of up to 50 lbs. without assistance regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical equipment and is exposed to weather conditionsuneven terrain as well as is exposed to fumes or airborne particles and noxious odors. The noise level in the work environment is usually high/loud.
