Entry Level Diesel Technician | $18–$24/hr | Fleet Shop

Moon’s Auto and Truck Service Center is a third-generation, family-owned repair facility serving Atlanta area fleets since the 1950s, and we are growing our medium-duty truck shop.

We are currently looking for a General Service Technician to join our team. This position focuses on preventative maintenance, tires, and supporting our experienced diesel technicians.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn diesel and truck repair while getting paid to build real experience.

You will work alongside experienced diagnostic technicians and gain hands-on exposure to medium duty diesel trucks, box trucks, and commercial fleet vehicles.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preventative maintenance services (PM services)
• Oil changes and fluid services
• Tire installation, repair, and rotations
• Vehicle inspections
• Assisting experienced technicians with repairs
• Keeping the shop clean and organized
• Moving vehicles in and out of the shop
• Supporting the truck shop team as needed

Vehicles You’ll Work On

We service a wide range of fleet vehicles including:

• Isuzu NPR / NQR / NRR
• Box trucks
• Ford F-Series work trucks
• Chevrolet Express / GMC Savana vans
• Ford Transit vans
• Shuttle buses
• Medium-duty diesel trucks

What We’re Looking For

• Basic mechanical knowledge or shop experience
• Interest in diesel or truck repair
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Dependable and punctual
• Team-oriented attitude
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic hand tools preferred

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
