Entry-Level Electrical Technician

Job Overview
Mudbots, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties

  • Assist with the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment using hand tools and testing devices such as ohmmeters
  • Support the assembly of electronic components, including surface mount technology (SMT) and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) fabrication
  • Conduct routine maintenance on electrical machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation
  • Help with wiring projects, including reading schematics and wiring diagrams to connect electrical components accurately
  • Participate in root cause analysis to identify issues within electrical systems and contribute to effective solutions
  • Support project scheduling efforts by tracking tasks and assisting with documentation related to electrical projects
  • Assist in debugging electrical circuits and systems to troubleshoot faults efficiently during manufacturing or equipment repair processes

Skills

  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols for electrical installations
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and debugging on complex electrical systems
  • Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance using hand tools and specialized test instruments
  • Understanding of electrical wiring practices, schematics interpretation, and use of testing tools like ohmmeters or multimeters
  • Basic scripting skills in Python or other languages for automation or data collection tasks
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
