Entry Level Lab Technician - 3rd shift (manufacturing)

Color Lab Technician position available! $2.50 shift premium for 3rd shift! First year PTO accrual! No waiting period for paid holidays! Full benefits package available after 60 days.

3rd shift hours are Sun-Thurs 11:30pm-8am

The training period would be on 1st shift with hours of 7:30am-4pm

Summary:

To adjust and finalize color submissions through the use of lab equipment, as well as perform quality control functions.

Essential Duties:

• Measure, weigh up color formula’s materials to meet customer specifications
• Mix batch in jars on shakers, and produce color chips using injection molding machines for sample submission and for each lot of colorant manufactured to ensure quality control
• During production process, match customer color submissions as accurately as possible using lab equipment and guidance from more experienced technicians assigned to Quality.
• Clean work area as needed, and follow all Safety rules and regulations.
• Fill supply cabinets with fresh supplies
