Job Summary
If you're interested in an Entry Level Laboratory Technician job, then this is the best role for you! This position supports daily operations in the Genotyping laboratory by maintaining an organized and clean workspace, handling incoming samples, and preparing lab materials. The role also involves operating and troubleshooting equipment used in genotyping production. The individual will be responsible for reviewing and archiving task-related documents.
Job Description
- Support daily laboratory operations including housekeeping, organization, and cleanliness of the workspace
- Receive and label incoming samples
- Maintain and manage laboratory inventory, including labware supplies
- Prepare buffers and reagents for laboratory work
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment used in genotyping production
- Review and archive task-related documents and records

- Troubleshooting and basic laboratory equipment operation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background checks
- Work Shift: 3rd shift schedule, 1:00 AM – 10:00 AM, Monday–Friday
- Understanding and adherence to Employee Safety and Health (ESH) guidelines
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow guidelines
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Ability to collaborate with multiple supervisors and cross-functional teams such as manufacturing and research personnel
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $14.00 to $21.43 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
