Entry-Level Layout Designer / Project Coordinator (Container Handling systems for consumer products

About the Role

We are looking for an Entry-Level Layout Designer / Project Coordinatorto join our team. This role is ideal for someone with AutoCAD skillsand an interest in creative design and problem solving. You’ll work closely with experienced project managers and engineers, gaining hands-on experience in designing layouts for the food & beverage and consumer goods industries.

What You’ll Do

• Use AutoCAD (2D)to create and update layouts for conveyor systems and equipment placement.
• Assist project managers by preparing conceptual layouts, revisions, and as-built documentation.

*participate in customer review discussions

• Review and update customer drawings and facility layouts under supervision.
• Help with bill of materials (BOMs)and equipment lists.
• Support calculations (line speeds, capacities, clearances) with guidance from engineers.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to gather information for projects.
• Maintain accurate project files and track drawing revisions.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)— coursework, internships, or project experience welcome.
• Education in electrical/mechanical tech or engineering prefered.
• Interest in learning about conveyor systems and material handling.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical drawings.
• Familiarity with food & beverage or consumer goods environmentsis a plus, but not required.
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Travel 25% of time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
