As a Paraprofessional, you’ll:
Support classroom teachers and case managers in implementing academic and behavioral goals
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students with special needs
Provide behavior support and interventions
Assist with crisis intervention when needed
Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
Help students develop independence with daily living skills
Collect and record data accurately
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
You’ll play a key role in helping students succeed — academically, socially, and emotionally.
Students gaining confidence and independence
Classrooms running more smoothly with effective support
Families and educators seeing meaningful progress
You gaining valuable experience in education and behavior support
Consistent weekday schedule (no weekends)
School-year calendar with holidays aligned to district schedules
Meaningful, hands-on experience with students
Collaborative team environment
This role is for you if:
You enjoy working with children and making a difference
You are patient, dependable, and compassionate
You communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
You thrive in structured, school-based environments
High School Diploma or GED
Availability Monday–Friday during school hours (typically 7:00/7:30 AM – 3:00/4:30 PM)
Experience working with children or as a caregiver
Strong communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to follow direction from teachers and supervisors
Preferred:
CPR certification
Paraprofessional certification or similar
Experience working in a school setting

Constant visual stimulation, including close vision, distance vision, reading, computer work
Constant sitting; frequent up and down out of chair
Constant use of telephone, speaking, listening
Constant document handling, use of copier and fax machine, filing
Frequent typing, use of computer
Occasional walking around building
Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, pulling
Occasional lifting, carrying, moving of items up to 20 pounds
Occasional walking to, bending to enter, sitting and using upper and lower limbs to drive car
