Entry-Level Real Estate Attorney

We are hiring a licensed New Mexico attorney to support ongoing legal work related to real estate and property law. This is a great opportunity for a newly licensed attorney looking to gain hands-on courtroom experience in eviction cases and legal document preparation.

You will support a network of real estate-related businesses on a contract basis and report directly to the business owner. Court presence is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle eviction filings and court appearances
  • Draft motions, notices, and other legal documents
  • Support zoning/permitting inquiries and compliance reviews
  • Review contracts, leases, and transactional documents
  • Provide legal support across multiple affiliated companies

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of New Mexico
  • Strong legal writing and organizational skills
  • Courtroom-ready and capable of working independently
  • Interest in real estate law, landlord-tenant matters, or housing policy
  • Experience with nonprofit legal support is a plus but not required

Compensation:

  • Depending on experience
  • Optional monthly retainer
  • Flexible workload with potential for expansion
  • Contractor position (1099)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
