Apex Cleaning Co. is hiring two cleaners to join our launch team. We are a residential and short-term rental cleaning company serving Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and nearby Maryland communities.
Expected Start Date
April 20, 2026
Schedule
Part-time to start, with the opportunity to move into full-time work as scheduling demands increase. The initial schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, with Saturday work added as needed based on client demand.
Travel and Reporting
Team members may travel directly to job sites or meet at a designated starting location based on the day’s schedule.
Pay Rates
- Apprentice (one to two-week training period): $15/hour
- Assistant Cleaner: $19/hour
- Cleaning Professional: $20–$21/hour
Every new employee begins as an Apprentice and completes one to two weeks of hands-on training before becoming eligible for promotion based on performance and certification readiness.
This entry-level step is not an indication of prior experience or capability. It is a required onboarding period designed to ensure every new team member is fully trained in Apex Cleaning Co.’s systems, tools, and expectations, including quality standards, checklist execution, and the proper use of Housecall Pro for job notes, communication, and timekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed residential and short-term rental cleaning services
- Follow company checklists, systems, and service standards on every job
- Work efficiently without compromising quality
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in clients’ homes
- Use company systems correctly for communication, job notes, and timekeeping
- Help create a smooth, dependable experience for both clients and teammates
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be eligible for W-2 employment
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle preferred
- Punctual, dependable, and professional
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Cleaning experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate
- English communication skills are helpful, but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and move throughout the workday
- Able to perform repetitive physical cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds
