Knouse Foods is looking to bring on a professional and driven sales analyst located in Pennsylvania. This mostly remote role (90% remote) is responsible for helping the team build a sales story, own their sales data, forecast, market, and potentially present data to customers. This role aims to get exposed to every aspect of relational sales with the end goal of developing into a sales rep. There will be occasional travel (10% travel) to our 3 manufacturing plants along with customer headquarters out of state.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare and present regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance and KPIs to internal and external teams.
- Utilize Nielsen and Scintilla to analyze sales performance, report observations, and provide insights on consumption, volumes, and gaps.
- Track volume, revenue, margin, trade spending and promotional performance.
- Assist the National Account Manager in creating line review presentations with analysis and consumer insights while collaborating with HQ business units and the CPFR team.
Forecasting & Demand Support
- Work with the National Account Manager and Demand Planning team to create SKU-level forecasts, aligning production and sales forecasting.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, highlight variances and make recommendations back to sales team
- Work cross-functionally with sales and demand planning team to provide actionable insights and recovery plans on weekly instock and fill rate reporting
Customer & Market Support
- Prepare pricing analysis and support RFP (Request for Proposal) submissions.
- Support new item launches by tracking distribution, velocity and performance.
- Analyze competitive landscape and market data for private label and alternate channels.
- Assist in developing customer scorecards and performance summaries.
Promotional & Trade Spend Analysis
- Monitor trade spending and ensure alignment with budget.
Data Integrity & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate customer and product master data.
- Support CRM and reporting system updates.
- Recommend improvements to reporting processes and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field required.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, finance, supply chain, or related internship experience preferred.
- Experience in CPG, food manufacturing or agricultural products is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS: Must possess valid motor vehicle operator’s license that is not under suspension or revocation and possess current automobile insurance coverage.
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
