Job Summary

• A blow mold mechanic is responsible for the setup, safety, and basic maintenance of molds, machines, and production equipment as necessary.
• Monitoring the molding from start to finish, making corrections when necessary
• Preparing for equipment job changes with the ability to plan and be prepared prior to the changeover.
• Diagnose/analyze problems, replace or repair broken or worn parts on equipment
• Maintain safe, clean work environment
• Perform any other duties assigned or needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• MUST be mechanically inclined
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Attention to detail
• Able to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Strong ability to troubleshoot processing issues
