Social Vibes Marketing is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media Strategist & Content Creator to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced digital environment, understands how to translate brand vision into compelling content, and enjoys collaborating with both internal teams and clients.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Content Strategist to join our dynamic team. This entry-level, part-time role requires a creative individual who is passionate about digital design and social media strategy. The ideal candidate will not only design engaging and innovative websites but will also manage social media content, ensuring our clients' brands are effectively represented across all platforms. Additional compensation is available for those willing to visit clients to capture and film quality content for repurposing across multiple mediums. Must live in New Jersey or within 30 Miles of Essex & Union County!!

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy:
  • Develop and execute social media content strategies that align with client goals and business objectives.
  • Manage and schedule posts across various social media platforms using social media management suites.
  • Conduct regular social media audits to ensure brand consistency and engagement.
  • Monitor online trends and consumer behavior to refine strategies and content.
  • Content Creation:
  • Capture and film high-quality content during client visits for use across various media platforms.
  • Repurpose content for multiple channels, ensuring it meets the unique needs of each platform.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative campaign ideas.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Participate in multiple company strategy meetings weekly to stay updated on client projects and team objectives.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into effective digital strategies.
  • Communicate the corporate image and products through social media networks and tools.
  • Monitor company online communities and presence.
  • Make initial responses to inquiries, complaints, comments, and other contacts generated through social media; coordinate escalations or further communications.
  • Analyze responses to social media activities and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the company message to online communities, media, analysts, and the general public.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience , and best practices.
  • Knowledge of SEO techniques and analytics tools to optimize website and social media performance.
  • Experience with social media management tools and advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other data analysis tools.
  • Basic video editing and photography skills; experience in capturing content in a professional setting is a plus.
  • E-commerce design experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type:

Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience.

Expected Hours:
10 – 15 hours per week (more after elevated core proficiencies)
