Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to user inquiries via help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira, providing clear and effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Assist with computer management tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop hardware and peripherals.
  • Support network administration activities including configuring VPNs, firewalls, DNS settings, TCP/IP protocols, LANs, and WAN connections.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
  • Help maintain IT infrastructure by supporting server environments like Microsoft Windows Server and Linux servers.
  • Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting network connectivity issues involving Cisco Meraki or other network devices.
  • Document issues and resolutions accurately in ticketing systems like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow to ensure seamless follow-up.

Skills

  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic computer management tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and mobile device support.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
