The Opportunity

Ridgeline Engineering Company is an engineering consulting firm specializing in structural engineering for communication towers. We have a massive project ahead—analyzing 200+ towers over the next year—and we are looking for a key player to join the team.

This is a career-growth role. We are looking for someone with a background in drafting (AutoCAD) who wants to pivot into technical analysis. You will spend the majority of your time performing structural analysis on towers. We have a robust training program and will teach you the engineering side. However, because we are a lean team, we need someone who can also step in and handle drafting/CAD work when the project demands it.

The Mission

Your primary mission is to help us clear a backlog of 200+ tower analyses. You will be trained on our industry-specific analysis software and will be responsible for modeling towers, running calculations, and ensuring data accuracy.

Key Results Areas (How You Win)

Success in this role is measured by three specific outcomes:

1. Analysis Production (The Primary Goal)

• The Win: You efficiently process tower analyses to keep the 200-tower project on schedule.
• Once trained, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the analysis: setting up the model, running the software, and organizing the data for final Engineering review.

2. Drafting Support (The "Utility Player")

• The Win: When drafting needs arise, you step in immediately to produce high-quality AutoCAD drawings.
• You use your CAD background to modify existing drawings or create new details, ensuring the engineering team never gets bottled up by drafting tasks.

3. Data Integrity & Precision

• The Win: You catch errors before the engineer sees them.
• Whether it is an analysis model or a CAD drawing, your work is double-checked and trustworthy. You take ownership of the details so the Senior Engineers can focus on high-level problem solving.

Who You Are

• Ready to Learn: You may know CAD, but you are eager to learn Structural Analysis. You are ready to master new software and technical concepts quickly.
• ACAD Pro: You are proficient in AutoCAD and can demonstrate it. You don't need training on how to draw; you just need to know what to draw.
• In-Person Only: We believe in shoulder-to-shoulder collaboration. This position is 100% in-office.
• Thick-Skinned & Driven: You prefer a fast-paced environment where results matter more than excuses.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. (Tested during interview).
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn complex software quickly.
• 0-3 years experience (We prefer Entry Level candidates with the right attitude).
• No Engineering degree required.
