Role Summary:
The Training Content Developer is responsible for turning business training ideas, meeting recordings, and outlines into polished, usable learning materials. This is a hands-on content production role focused on creating slide decks, editing video clips, and preparing business training assets that are clear, organized, and ready for delivery.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys building, editing, and packaging content and wants to grow within the learning and development space over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and format slide decks based on outlines and existing content
- Edit meeting recordings into short, focused training clips
- Produce simple instructional videos using standard and AI-based tools
- Design supporting materials such as worksheets, playbooks, etc.
- Maintain organized file structures and content libraries
- Apply consistent formatting and branding across materials
- Collaborate with team on priorities, timelines, revisions, and future initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and Google Slides
- Experience with basic video editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Descript, Adobe tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfort receiving direction and turning concepts into finished materials
- Able to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI content or video tools such as Midjourney, Google Flow/VEO3, Nano Banana, Topaz, YouTube Studio, etc.
- Exposure to training, learning, and development, or education environments
- Basic understanding of visual design principles
- Portfolio or examples of content creation work
What Success Looks Like
- Training materials are polished, consistent, and ready for use
- Meeting recordings are quickly converted into usable clips
- Content is easy to find, organized, and up to date
- Projects move forward with minimal oversight once priorities are set
