Entry Level Underwriting Support Analyst/Scrubber

Description

Reliance Financial is a privately held Small-Midsize Business ("SMB") finance company with operations spanning three key departments: Underwriting, Operations, and Treasury/Servicing. The Underwriting team oversees the sourcing, underwriting, and origination of deals submitted by Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs). We are currently seeking a dedicated entry-level Junior Analyst/Scrubber to join our underwriting team. This role involves screening all new submissions and providing support to senior team members in processing each file. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal and external business systems. This position is based in Farmingdale, New Jersey and requires in-person attendance.

Responsibilities

· Screen new submission applications, bank statements, financial statements and supporting underwriting documents.

· Data entry of transaction details across internal business systems.

· Manage deal underwriting lifecycle and status in deal origination system/CRM.

· Assist underwriting team members with ad hoc tasks or projects.

· Comfortable working in the office five days a week. This is not a hybrid or work-from-home position.

Qualifications

· Four year degree preferred but not required.

· Preferred but not required, one (1) year of experience working in an analytical or operational support position within the financial services industry. Experience in Merchant Cash Advance or small business finance is preferred but not required.

· Proficiency in asset origination technologies and Microsoft suite of solutions

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring interpersonal communication.

· Meticulous attention to detail while working with financial documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
