Environmental Consultant (Sustainability Development)

We’re looking for an Environmental Consultant who can translate sustainability principles into business value. You’ll assess clients’ environmental impact, develop actionable sustainability strategies, and help businesses meet regulatory requirements while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct sustainability assessments for client businesses, focusing on carbon footprint, resource use, and compliance.
• Develop practical, cost-effective sustainability plans aligned with business-first framework.
• Support the creation of ESG reports, sustainability statements, and improvement roadmaps.
• Research emerging regulations, certifications, and green standards relevant to SMEs.
• Collaborate with the web, marketing, and customer journey teams to ensure sustainability insights are clearly communicated.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear, actionable, and non-technical manner.
• Contribute to internal toolkits, templates, and dashboards that simplify sustainability reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in environmental consultancy, sustainability management, or compliance (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may also apply).
• Understanding of ESG, carbon accounting, circular economy, and sustainable business practices.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate environmental data into business insights.
• Passion for helping small businesses grow sustainably.
• Preferred
• Familiarity with SME sustainability frameworks or international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, GHG Protocol).
• Experience in preparing grant applications or sustainability certifications.
