Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in the field of Water & Wastewater treatment.

As a Water and Environmental Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, you will play an important role in our organization, contributing to the successful planning, design, and implementation of water & wastewater treatment plants, including process selection, sizing calculations and water quality assessment

Responsibilities :

Design :

• Utilize your expertise to develop detailed engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Quality Assurance:

• Perform thorough quality checks and reviews of engineering documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Technical Analysis:

• Conduct technical analysis and calculations to support design decisions, system performance evaluations, and optimization efforts. Use specialized software and tools to model and simulate wet utilities systems.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay up to date with relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to water treatment and wastewater treatment.
• Ensure project designs and operations comply with applicable legal requirements and obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the Water and Environment consulting field.
• Participate in professional development activities, attend conferences, and pursue relevant certifications to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering or a related field.
• Master's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in water and wastewater treatment process design and consultancy.
• Proficiency in relevant water and wastewater treatment modeling software and RO membrane projection software.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Excellent Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in the Middle East and Africa is preferred.
