Junior Interior Designer

ASD|SKY, a progressive interior design, architectural and graphics firm, has an immediate opening for a Junior Interior Designer with 0-4 years of experience specializing in Commercial/Corporate.

The opportunity exists for you to shape and grow a studio through a collaborative and strategic design process to deliver highly creative and well-detailed projects.

Responsibilities:

• Being a part of a project team while working through the coordination and delivery of project concepting, design, detailing, documentation and construction.

• Engagement and coordination of engineers and other basic design consultants.

• Awareness of project schedules and tracking to design milestones.

• Attend project meetings and travel to and from project sites and client meetings as required.

Requirements:

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to collaborate well in a studio environment and work independently to service individual client needs.

• Willingness to engage in an integrated design process inclusive of Interior Design, Signage and Graphics and Landscape.

• Ability to create 3-D presentations

• Rendering proficiency, with strong documentation skills

• Revit, Autocad, and sketchup proficient

• Skilled at Excel, Word and Photoshop

• Ability to coordinate documents prepared by consultants

• Knowledge of construction documentation

• Registrations not required

• Minimum BS or BA in Architecture or Interior Design required.

• Minimum of 0-4 years of experience in architectural design, documentation, and contract administration.
