Vista is looking for motivated and experienced individuals to join our environmental injection and drilling team. You will perform duties of an environmental injection specialist and be trained in operation of specialized injection equipment to inject chemical reagents for the in-situ treatment of contaminated soil and groundwater. Projects will include supporting our client's environmental site characterization and remediation projects.

The environmental injection specialist may be trained in the operation of Geoprobe drill rigs and the sampling of soil, gas, and groundwater.

Compensation:

Sign on Bonus: $2,000

Full Time Hourly position

Annual Earnings from $75,000-$100,000, based on previous experience

40-60 hours per week anticipated. 1.5x hourly rate for overtime

Per-Diem for overnight travel

Training and Advancement Paths Provided:

OSHA 8-hour HAZWOPER (CFR 1910.120) Supervisor & Refresher

Lead Geotechnical/Environmental Drillers

Remediation (Injection) Technician

Direct Imaging Technicians

Hydrogeology & Remediation Training

Commercial Driver Training

Professional Certifications and/or Licenses

Primary job duties:

Lead soil/groundwater/soil gas sample collection for site characterization

Guide and lead entry level field technicians

Communicate and work across all levels of the company

Operate and maintain specialized reagent mixing and pumping systems

Operate and maintain digital pressure and flow logging systems

Lead injection projects for in situ soil and ground water remediation

Provide supervision, guidance and training on our drilling and remediation systems.

Maintenance, trouble shooting, and repair of equipment

Work collaboratively with clients on site

Prepare and write data and injection summary reports for project reports

Attend conferences to promote and teach on our drilling technologies

Required Qualifications:

Experience with Remediation and Injection Systems

OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification

High school diploma or equivalent

Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Pass general background check

Pass DOT & HAZWOPER medical physical

Ability to travel both in state and out of state

Current Driver’s License and acceptable driving record is required.

Ability to work & communicate with team members & clients

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with geotechnical & environmental drilling

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

MSHA Certification

Experience using Microsoft Office software

Experience with Mapping and Modeling software

Mechanical, fabrication, welding skills

Associates or Bachelor degree in Geology or other Environmental Sciences

Military experience a plus!
