Environmental Officer

• Location: Doha, Qatar
• Duration: 6 Months, and Extendable

We are seeking a qualified Environmental Officer to support our civil construction project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits on-site.
• Prepare environmental reports, records, and documentation for management and regulatory authorities.
• Advise project management and site teams on environmental best practices and mitigation measures.
• Monitor air, water, noise, and waste management activities on-site.
• Coordinate with governmental authorities and consultants on environmental matters.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Conduct environmental awareness training for site personnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in environmental management within civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of Qatar environmental regulations and standards is preferred.
• Strong report writing, communication, and organisational skills.
• Certification in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) or related training will be preferred.
• Candidate should be available in Qatar with a valid QID
