The Environmental Safety Specialist supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.
- Conduct weekly hazardous waste inspections and monthly SPCC inspections
- Coordinate hazardous waste pick-ups and ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation
- Prepare and submit required environmental reports
- Track and report corporate environmental data
- Perform facility safety and environmental audits to ensure OSHA & EPA compliance
- Support training and communication on environmental and safety programs
- Knowledge of hazardous waste, SPCC, and air quality compliance programs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR preferred
- Excellent verbal and written skills
