Job Title: Environmental Services Technician
Location: Modesto, CA 95350
Employment Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Potential for Permanent Hire
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to support facility operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. This role plays a critical part in infection control, sanitation, and ensuring operational efficiency within the facility.

Responsibilities

Infection Control & Sanitation

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of carts, delivery trucks, and facility surfaces
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control

Supply & Inventory Management

• Monitor, manage, and replenish SPD materials, dry goods, and paper supplies
• Ensure consistent availability of supplies for uninterrupted workflow

Facility Maintenance

• Clean and maintain floors, surfaces, and common areas
• Support a well-organized and professional work environment

Operational Support

• Assist technicians and staff by ensuring required materials and equipment are readily available
• Contribute to smooth daily operations

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve cleanliness, efficiency, and workflow processes

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a proactive, “can-do” mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical environment
• Familiarity with infection control and sanitation practices
