We are seeking an experienced
ESG Supervisor
to lead and oversee the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across Çalık Renewables’ operations and projects. This role will be instrumental in aligning our sustainability strategy with international standards such as the
IFC Performance Standards
,
Equator Principles
, and our internal ESG policies.
Level: Mid Level Manager
Reports to: ESG Coordinator (N-1)
The Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy Projects and ESG, or 7 years of experience in Environmental and Social Compliance of Energy Projects.

Proven experience with
project finance ESG requirements
, including IFC and Equator Principles.

Familiarity with international environmental and social (E&S) standards (IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, etc.) and experience working with project finance and lenders’ E&S requirements, either in a project or consultancy setting.

Knowledge in Carbon Disclosure Project Reporting, carbon credits, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 14064-1 Corporate Carbon Footprint Calculation, and ISO 14046 Water Footprint Standards.

Strong knowledge of ESG risk assessment methodologies and standards.

Experience with data management and ESG reporting tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Willingness to travel for site visits and stakeholder meetings.
The Responsibilities:

Lead Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) processes and ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IFC, Equator Principles).

Develop and implement Environmental and Social Management Plans, including Biodiversity and Livelihood Restoration strategies.

Monitor and report ESG performance, including carbon and water footprint calculations, and manage certification and audit readiness.

Coordinate ESG reporting processes such as the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and support carbon credit documentation.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with ESG best practices and regulatory developments.

Provide ESG training and guidance to employees and advise leadership on sustainability strategies.

Conduct site visits and prepare monitoring reports on environmental and social performance
