Environmental Specialist

We are looking for a Environmental Specialist to lead our specialist team of consultants in our rapidly developing Lahore office. You’ll be busy inspiring and coordinating a small, growing team, collaborating with new and current clients and keeping your technical skills fresh.

Our Lahore office was established in 2017 and the role requires a technical expert with passion and ambition to match our pace and join us on our exciting journey. • Client Engagement & Project Mobilization
  The Environmental Specialist will enjoy direct contact with our clients for all aspects of project acquisition through to delivery, including negotiating service agreements, overseeing assignments from start to end, preparing / reviewing key project deliverables, ensuring timely issuance of invoices, organizing the team and joining in on site visits.
• Business Development

Capitalize on existing PetroRisk client relationships to expand the company’s profile and market share in the energy market that result in significant net revenue growth.

• Leadership
  As a passionate leader of a growing team of Environmental, Health & Safety specialists, you’ll be involved in the management of the Lahore office. Quality team meetings, one to ones, and internal management meetings to make decisions on allocation of resource to projects, identify training requirements, and making a case for new hires as appropriate.

Qualifications & experience

• MS in Environmental Engineering or sciences, health & safety subjects
• A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), environmental & social due diligence and audits
• Consultancy, contracting and / or operational experience
• Experience of working on several projects, managing teams, and maintaining excellent client relationships

The person

You’ll need to be a highly professional and aspirational environmental professional driven to deliver technical excellence to match the PetroRisk team ethos. You’ll be an effective technical thinker with strong analytical problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach. As an exceptional communicator you’ll have well developed report writing and presentation skills with acute attention to detail. You’ll thrive on customer engagement and be skilled in understanding their needs and building lasting relationships. Your customer focus and sound technical judgment will equip you to achieve your project objectives. You’ll know the best way to manage your projects and apply your knowledge of project management methodologies and practices daily. You will work well in all scenarios and as a ‘self-manager’ take satisfaction from using your initiative and taking accountability.
