Environmental Technician - Bohemia

Impact Environmental has an immediate opening for an Environmental Technician with a minimum of 2 years relative experience. Position based from our Bohemia, Long Island, office with a large part of the position on job sites around Long Island and in NYC.

Job Requirements

• Experience performing field sampling (e.g., soil, soil vapor and groundwater).
• Air monitoring and oversight a plus.
• Travel to NYC and the 5 boroughs (company vehicles available).
• Adaptability and willingness to adjust to client needs.

Candidate Qualifications

• Relevant experience
• Team oriented, safety conscious, individual with good communication skills, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment, consistency and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around construction sites.
• Willing to consent to drug, motor vehicle, and background screens.

OSHA 40 hour (HAZWOPER) and/or OSHA 10/30 hour (Construction Safety) certifications a plus.
