Key Purpose
The individuals in this position are responsible for performing tasks associated with handling, decontaminating, and operating equipment with safety and compliance as the top priority.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing objects
- Apply liquid chemical solution to contaminated equipment/areas
- Maintain up-to-date OSHA 40 HAZWOPER and company required training
- Maintain and operate equipment and tools issued by the company
- Comply with on-going and random drug testing and physicals as required by the company
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2-year trade/construction experience
- Ability to use and wear Personal Protective Equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to work weekends and to travel out of town on short notice.
- Hazardous waste experience and certifications are ideal
- Previous environmental services industry experience a plus
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay: Commensurate on level of experience
Pay: $31.14 - $37.50 per hour
