Eos & Nyx Host

Overview: As a Host, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You’ll manage reservations, greet guests, and ensure a smooth flow of service while showcasing our dedication to hospitality and culinary excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting: Welcome guests with a friendly, positive attitude as they enter and exit the restaurant.
• Reservations: Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable, providing accurate wait times and ensuring a smooth seating process.
• Seating: Escort guests to their tables or bar areas, ensuring they are comfortably seated.
• Menus: Present clean, accurate menus and inform guests of their server’s name.
• Assistance: Address guests’ special needs (e.g., children, elderly) and support servers as required.
• Communication: Handle phone calls and customer inquiries with professionalism and a smile.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized host stand.

Qualifications:

• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems.
• Valid Food Handlers Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification.
• Understanding of full-service restaurant operations and terminology.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to adhere to grooming and dress code standards.

Hours:

• Full-Time & Part-Time: Availability for regular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Sunday brunch required.
• Weekly Hours: 16-24 hours per week.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 40+ lbs. and navigate stairs to the mezzanine floor.
