Job Title: Epic Application Analyst Level 1

Location: Remote (New York) – 80% Remote / 20% Onsite
Job Type: Contract

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Epic Application Analyst Level 1 to support the design, development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide clinical systems. This role involves gathering and translating business and clinical requirements into technical solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business and clinical requirements
• Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to assess user needs and system gaps
• Develop process flows, data models, and system documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and IT leadership
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; recommend solutions
• Support system design, implementation, and testing activities
• Maintain documentation including test plans, release notes, and training materials
• Facilitate meetings, workgroups, and follow-up activities
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry best practices

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide end-user support and troubleshoot application issues
• Deliver system training and assist in user adoption
• Support project presentations and reporting
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to training initiatives
• Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in:
  • Business/clinical requirements gathering
  • Healthcare IT, clinical systems, or application support
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with clinical workflows and healthcare systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Epic systems/modules
• Healthcare or hospital environment experience
• Experience in application support and troubleshooting
• Ability to conduct training sessions and create user documentation
• Familiarity with project lifecycle methodologies
