Our IS Department is currently seeking a full-time qualified candidate to join our collaborative team in delivering excellence in systems management and user support. Our IS Department is comprised of a skilled team of application, systems support and management professionals. This position is in our Executive Central Business Office where employees enjoy a casual and professional work environment with an opportunity for a hybrid work status. While remote candidates will be considered, preference will be given to local candidates. (Residents of California, Oregon, Washington, and New York are not eligible for remote employment).
Responsibilities
The Epic Cadence/Prelude Analyst will work closely with other departments and operational leadership to translate business needs into EMR functionality. They perform unit testing and create complex integrated testing scripts used to perform detailed quality assurance within multiple systems and applications prior to release of new functionality to end-users. Positions at this level assess implementation strategies and the impact those strategies will have on workflows and operations. They are responsible for reviewing vendor software releases and updates to determine features desired and then implement them. Incumbent will assist in maintaining current test and training environments.
This position supports Epic Prelude, which provides patient registration, address verification, HIPAA compliant eligibility tools to ensure accurate billing and Epic Cadence, a patient scheduling application. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Scoping, planning, implementing and maintenance of Cadence/Prelude,
· Operational process improvement,
· Provide end users with application support and assess departmental needs and objectives,
· Review changes with upcoming developments in software applications and perform upgrades,
· Communicate software problems and issues to vendor support teams,
· Create documentation for supported systems and enhancements,
· Monitor and support application interfaces,
· Design, test and modify complex systems, modules and/or approaches and required enhancements,
· Perform complex coding, reviewing, preparing test data, testing and debugging and implementing of system build,
· Perform complex analysis and troubleshooting for various clinical and business applications and have a solid understanding of workflows,
· Assist in the development, design, and delivery of training materials,
· Participate in an on-call rotation as needed,
· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Must be able to prepare and conduct effective presentations; assess priorities and self-time manage through deliverables; and coordinate activities with diverse groups and individuals.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Healthcare, or related field OR a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working as an electronic health records system analyst,
· Three (3) years’ experience providing end-user support for applications,
· Two (2) years’ experience working with third-party vendors for application support and implementations,
· Knowledge and understanding of Patient Access (Scheduling and Registration) operational workflows,
· Familiarity with HL7 Interface messaging,
· Highly self-motivated and directed,
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment,
· Very strong customer service orientation,
· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment,
· Experience with ancillary clinical IT systems
· EPIC certification(s) - current upon hire preferred. OR, EPIC certification(s) - achieve within 120 days of hire date required. AND if certification not achieved upon hire must be willing to travel or actively participate in remote training as required.
Preferred Qualifications
· Epic Certification in one or more Epic Patient Access applications (Prelude, Cadence, Welcome, Referrals, and/or RTE).
· 3+ years as an Epic Patient Access Analyst (focused on Cadence and/or Prelude) skilled in workflow design, application build/configuration, training, and support.
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
